Codehooks AS ("us", "we", or "our") operates the snill.ai website and service ("Service"). This page describes our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our Service.

• Account information: Email address and name, provided when you sign up or join our waitlist
• Usage data: IP address, browser type and version, pages visited, time and date of visits, and other diagnostic data
• Your Content: Data, schemas, and content you create within the Service

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information solely for:

• Providing and maintaining the Service
• Communicating with you about the Service, including updates and support
• Monitoring usage to improve the Service
• Detecting and preventing technical issues

We do not use your information for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use Your Content for AI model training.

3. Data Storage and Transfer

Your data is stored and processed within the EU/EEA. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your information in Norway and within the EU/EEA.

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption, access controls, and monitoring to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

5. Cookies

We use cookies for storing authentication tokens (JWT) necessary for accessing the Service. We also use analytics services (Fathom Analytics) for privacy-friendly, aggregate website analytics that do not track individual users.

We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate the Service. These third parties have access to your personal information only to perform tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

7. AI Processing

Snill uses large language models (LLMs) to power features such as the AI app builder and the Data Assistant. Personal information stored in your app — including names, email addresses, phone numbers, and other directly identifying values — is anonymized before being sent to the LLM. The LLM receives the structure and intent of your request, not the personal details that could identify individuals.

We work only with LLM providers whose terms prohibit training on data submitted through their APIs.

8. Your Rights Under GDPR

As a data subject under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Erasure: Request deletion of your personal data
• Portability: Request a machine-readable copy of your data
• Restriction: Request that we limit processing of your data
• Objection: Object to processing of your personal data

9. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Upon account termination, personal data is deleted within 2 weeks, unless legal retention requirements apply.

Waitlist data (email address) is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

Our Service is not directed to anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we discover that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information promptly.

11. Links to Other Sites

Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites.
